Trickle Up

Trickle Up (https://trickleup.org/), a 2017 Handbag Awards' partner, helps the poorest and most vulnerable people achieve greater financial independence. We provide startup capital and livelihoods training, promote social inclusion, and tap into the power and resilience of individuals who are excluded from the economic mainstream. We have reached more than 200,000 people since 1979 – women, people with disabilities, refugees, and people from indigenous groups — benefiting more than 1,000,000 (5:1 multiplier effect). We invest in people, because we believe in their ability to transform their own lives.
