Tamara Rappa has been working both as a fashion editor and wardrobe stylist since 1996. Her first job in fashion/publishing was at Andy Warhol's legendary Interview Magazine. After 3 years Tamara went from fashion assistant to editor when she took the position of Accessories Editor at Hearst's iconic breadwinner Cosmopolitan. During her 4 years at Cosmopolitan, Tamara went on to become Senior Fashion Editor, covering most of the American market and all of Paris. Tamara was solely responsible for 3 to 4 front of book fashion pages each month, and combed the market for all fashion spreads as well as the dazzling celebrity covers that are unmistakably Cosmo. In the magazine TamaraÕs selections appeared on celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, and she also served as key fashion editor for the magazine's annual All About Men publication. After her time at Cosmopolitan, Tamara helped establish the fashion department as part of a two-person team for OK! Magazine just prior to the U.S. launch. At OK! Tamara covered all fashion markets across all categories and wrote Fashion Week reviews. Tamara's most recent work as an editor was at exciting O, The Oprah Magazine where she spent 4 years as the magazine's Senior Accessories Editor. At O, Tamara also covered all accessories in all markets across all categories, including fine jewelry and watches. Tamara tracked and presented accessories trends each season and sourced the finest items at all price points for Oprah's dedicated readers. Many of her selections have appeared in the magazine's popular O List section, and can be found in Oprah's personal collection. Tamara sourced all accessories including jewelry for Oprah for cover shoots; provided accessories for all fashion spreads; for front and back of book accessories pages, including accessories spotlight page Look What We Found! Tamara also contributed casting suggestions for the magazine, and accessories that would be showcased on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Through the years, Tamara has also worked as a stylist within the fashion, celebrity, and media arenas. Projects range from red carpet, fashion editorial, wardrobe for TV, music video/ album cover packaging, and advertising styling. Tamara has worked as a stylist for the Bravo Network for many years, and most recently served as key wardrobe stylist for Top Chef Seattle. Additionally, in 2001, along with a partner and legendary graffiti artist Lee Quinones, Tamara created F&T Collection, a line of contemporary clothing and handbags sold on Girlshop.com, in Los Angeles, and all over Japan. Tamara has served as a fashion expert/spokesperson on television, online, and in print. Tamara was nominated by the esteemed WomenÕs Jewelry Association for her work as an accessories editor at their annual Awards For Excellence. Currently Tamara is working on Taresheet.com, a fashion lifestyle guide and shopping magazine.
